Positive: Once you open the door, you can tell the owner Pamela has put a lot of thought and care into every corner of the house. It's very clean and tastefully decorated with attention to detail. The bed was huge and comfortable. The solid comfortable sofa also comes with an incredibly soft, thoughtfully provided blanket. Being able to watch Apple TV and all that made us feel like home. The sunrise view from the bed was the perfect beginning to our wonderful day.
Negative: It would be so nice if the shower water pressure was higher. :)

Positive: The studio is beautiful and cozy, the owner is welcoming and communicative, and the space is very relaxing. Perfect location for getting to the park and around Joshua Tree, but still be removed from the busy main road and area. It's easy to also spend down time here to relax and unwind. We were also able to see a good amount of stars and enjoy the outdoor space.
Negative: I wish it was more clear beforehand that the entire outside area is not available to you. Rather the guests in the studio are able to use the front yard and I assume the 1 bedroom apartment guests can use the backyard. This is fine as both areas have plenty of space, but would be better to know in advance to avoid confusion.

Positive: The stargazing was amazing. So many little touches inside (she left us a note and candy!). Eclectic decorations, inside and out. Bed was comfortable, sofa bed was cool too. Outdoor swing, fire pit, maze! Property is right up against the desert, yet only about 7 min drive from the main road thru Joshua Tree town, so have some restaurants. Easy access to the park, about 15 min drive away.
